One scheduling engine for every league you run.
MySideline builds schedules around your fields, your coaches, and your league's rules, then keeps up with every change through the season. Here is everything it does.
What MySideline does now
Building the schedule
Constraint-aware schedule generation
- Weekly round-robin rounds for divisions of four or more teams
- Odd-numbered divisions with fair byes
- Rematch spacing, so no team meets the same opponent back to back
Field and venue rules
- Required, preferred, and forbidden fields per division
- Venue priority tiers
- No venue opened for a single game: a game is never left alone at a venue on its day
- Doubleheaders kept at the same venue
Rainouts and make-ups
Washed-out games are re-placed into later weeks as legal doubleheaders. MySideline proposes the make-ups and the league approves them in one step.
Working with coaches
Coach availability without passwords
Each coach gets a private link to enter blackout dates and times, plus day, time, and location preferences. No account or password needed. The scheduler honors blackouts and weighs preferences.
Coach game-change requests
Coaches propose a new time, the opposing coach accepts, and every change is tracked for the league.
SportsEngine
Keep SportsEngine. Let MySideline do the scheduling.
Leagues already on SportsEngine don't have to switch anything. MySideline builds the schedule. Schedules go to SportsEngine, and changes your league makes in SportsEngine sync back automatically.
Families and coaches keep using the SportsEngine app they already know.
Keeping a record
Published-change tracking
Changes made after a schedule is published are tracked on the league’s Changes page, so the league always knows what moved.
Audit history and email delivery tracking
A full history of every change, plus delivery tracking for the emails sent to coaches.
Additional features
Tell us what your league needs and we'll set it up with you.
Live Game Stats for parents
A subscription for parents. When a game starts, subscribed parents get a link to a fast, phone-first stat tracker for keeping their own child's stats during the game.
- Big tap targets, built for one-handed use from the bleachers
- Live game clock and score at the top of the screen
- Stat buttons made for each sport
- Stats build into a season history for the child
- Private to the family by default
See the stat buttons for baseball, flag football, tackle football, basketball, and soccer.

Referee and umpire assignment
Refs see open games and largely self-assign from a texted link, with per-ref rules on how many and which games each can work, and automatic notice when their game changes.
Registration and payments
Player and team registration with payment collection, custom sign-up links for each season or tournament, and players placed into the right age group automatically.
Scores, standings and stats
Scores entered from a texted link at the final whistle, or by coaches and admins. Public standings pages that update as scores come in, plus team and player stats.
Text message notifications
Texts to opted-in coaches and families when a game changes, and reminders ahead of games.
Crossover games between divisions
Games between teams from different divisions, built into the schedule.
Guided event setup
Pick your sport, then a format (a multi-week season with playoffs, or a weekend round robin plus bracket), then fields or courts and time slots.
League portals
Your league's own home at your-league.mysideline.ai, with your own admin login.
Sponsor banners
Banner space your league can sell to local sponsors.
Family accounts

HorizonWebRef integration
For football: the schedule written straight into HorizonWebRef so assignors stop re-entering games, with ref changes kept in sync.
Tournaments
Weekend tournaments with pool play into brackets, and tournament brackets across your fields or courts.
Pitcher-rest awareness
For baseball: pitcher rest taken into account when a team plays on consecutive days.
Setup time on shared fields
Room for setup between games when divisions share a field.
Shared-field awareness for small-sided games
One full field used whole for older ages and split into small-sided fields for younger ones, with MySideline knowing they share the same ground.
